New Specs

Got two new pairs of spectacles for my birthday. Posting the pictures here now. Cost quite a bomb, but I figure the recipocral present should be pretty good, and burn a reasonable hole in my pocket. Anyway, blame the cheapo webcam for the lousy shots.

Work has been pretty irritating thus far. Been going down daily to Toa Payoh to man the VOG booth at the Public Service Exhibition. To those that are interested, the exhibition closes tomorrow and it showcases 49 projects from 31 agencies. I think the mosquito exhibit is quite interesting, they have hundreds of mozzies in clear boxes and show the different stages of mosquito development, from eggs to larvae to pupae and finally adults. Gave out lots of freebies today, wanted to expend as many as possible. The most effective method was to collaborate with CSC which was just behind us to give out our items as a package. Have gotten a new nick for someone in my office. My colleague and I call that person our red tape. No prizes for guessing why. Hopefully red tape doesn't get in the way of expending all our collateral.
