It's been more than 2 weeks since my last post. Just had Christmas dinner with the IC people. Had dinner at Riociotti at China Square. I so hate going to Shenton Way area for food. Got lost and spent almost 30min walking around. Plus I forgot to bring Joey's gift for the present exchange. I blame it on work, was so busy towards the end of the day that I forgot to take it out of my laptop bag. All I could focus on was leaving the office. On the plus side, my boss is on leave for the rest of the week. There will be one less person breathing down my neck for the next couple of days.
There'll be dinner with the B03 people tomorrow, hopefully it materialises. Would be nice to see some of them, though we just met over the weekend for a midnight movie on Saturday. Watched Curse of the Golden Flower at Cineleisure on Saturday with them. The show was alright, the only entertainment being Gong Li. Set wise I think The Banquet was more picturesque but the Curse was more colourful and grand.
The past weekend was quite hectic, but it all died down on Christmas itself. Saturday started with a tennis game with the usual peeps at 4-6, followed by dinner with the Scouts from 630 to 830, then some drinks and movie with the B03 pple culminating in supper. Sunday was the Yong Family annual Christmas party, followed by TN's Christmas party, followed by another midnight movie. Watched Nite at the Museum with the IC people. Spent most of Christmas stoning at home and napping.
In fact I met the IC people everyday since last Friday, started with Mahjong on Friday Night, then Tennis on Saturday Afternoon, Movie on Sunday Night, supper on MondayNight and finally Chirstmas Dinner just. Guess they are the people I meet most often these days.
Aniway, two weeks ago I went to suprise TN on his Birthday and found out he proposed when he went for his holiday with his now fiance, then I found out on Sunday that another friend of mine was planning to propose on that very evening. I feel my biological clock ticking away... haha... But I do think it's amazing so many of them are getting married. Attended Stella's wedding just 2 weeks back, though I do wonder a little what's the point since they ROMed ages ago.
