Old...

Another year has gone by and I am now 26 years and 1 day old. Took time off yesterday to escape from work, I do not think it is healthy for an individual to work on his birthday. However, it was quite an unproductive day yesterday, just spent the entire day sleeping. Dinner was at Grand Shanghai at Grand Copthorne, food was alright, the Lion Head Meatballs I was looking forward to weren't particularly spectacular. Preferred the versions I made back in London. Cost was relatively low as well, I think I should have chosen somewhere more expensive since it was my birthday.

Anyway, I just revived an old passion of mine - gourmet chocolates. My sister just got back from New York and she brought back the chocolates I asked for. Think she spent more than 150USD on 2 boxes of La Maison du Chocolat chocolates. I just had one truffle after dinner and the taste is simply amazing. However, don't think I'll get any fresh stock soon, so should try to make the current stock last.

I had my annual BBQ last Saturday and invited the usual PSC gang, included the FC people this year but dropped the B03 people. Would have invited the B03 people, but couldn't get a critical mass.









Other than the BBQ, had dinner at Prego with BT, YQ, Jean and Xin on Tuesday night. The food was good, but the portions were really miniscule. Not that it was insufficient, but I definately could have eaten more. Spent the rest of the night talking cock with them. Would have liked to go for round 2 with more drinks but I guess the others had work on Wednesday and I was the only one who was on leave.

Don't remember much of the weeks before, except I watched Resident Evil 2 weeks ago and attended a Halloween party/Nat's birthday party 3 weeks ago. Also met the IC people for lunch at Original Sin on Deepavali. The food there is actually quite good, and it just reminds me that I haven't seen ES in ages. After he got attached, he just doesn't seem to appear much... Zhong Se Qing You... tsk tsk...
