It's been almost a month since my last update. It's been a hell of a busy week for me at work, last week being the worst in a long while. Had Board Meeting, Career Fair and COPS all in one week. At least I had a good weekend, met the IC people for dinner on Thursday night to celebrate Qihui's birthday at Holland V. Ate italian food then went to 2am dessert bar for dessert. At least we found a new place to go for desserts, and the chocolate tart is really very good. Then there was the B03 gathering which Lester organised at my place on Saturday night. Had Junxian, Lester and David for dinner, then Joshua and Darell came much later. The booze was good, but nobody got drunk as usual. Then on Sunday went to Doris' place to play tennis. First time playing on astroturf, can't say it's significantly diferent from a hard court, but they really don't maintain the place.
Then the week before I met up with the Delta people for dinner on Friday night. Wenzheng, TK and Mark were there. Remember the cross examination on each other's girlfriends. At least I was exempt from this line of questioning. Dinner was at the Japanese Curry Udon place at Central Mall, followed by coffee at Clarke Quay Coffee Club. There was a long discussion on CEP that I remember, amazing that IDA does not practise CEP.
The weekend after my last post was boring though, was LO for the Malaysia Singapore Public Service Games. My entire weekend was burnt because of it. Still haven found out if we're eligible to claim time off for the weekend. Got a watch and tie out of it though, but must remember to declare these items. Must say that Singapore is really small, met Mingjie at TMCC over the weekend when I was LOing. He was having lunch with gf and I was waiting for my principal to finish his golf game. Wonder why he had lunch there of all places.
