Whiny Boys

Been wanting to write about this since last week. When the 1st email I get this week from Eesin is asking me about my thoughts on whiny male scholars, I suppose it shows the importance of this topic. Honestly, I didn't really care about what he said. He's entitled to his own opinions after all. Just that it's a freaking sweeping statement. He did try to cover it by saying there's a distinction between men and whiny boys, but not many people will read it that way. Anyhow, just as there are guys who whine about everything, the same can be said for gals, there are also quite a number of gals who break bonds, just that PSC does not have the policy to name bond-breakers.... Perhaps there are too many, BT was saying that when his friends gather, all they speak about is how to break bond. When so many scholarships are given out, some black sheep are certain to be included, the scholarship selection board is not omnipotent, they aren't perfect. From what I gather, PSC doesn't look too badly on those who break after they've already started work, not as bad as those who break even before they work.

NS is a character builder, especially so when you go through tough training. Things like JCC especially, not that I've found out much about myself. In such instances, those around you can see who you truly are. Am always curious to find out what others think about me. In that sense, peer appraisals in OCS are quite useful. The hot seat in '01 OBS was good, hot seat in JCC ended abruptly. But when you're forced to do something you're not interested in doing, often you'll whine about it. Hence the whiny NS boys. I whine about having nothing to do whereas BT whines about having too much work.

The gal that was interviewed has been lambasted online and she came back this week on newspapers to set the record straight. The media has to truncate quotes to fit the length of the article and this results in being mis-understood. As such, heavily salt whatever is read in the papers.

Anyway, watched Revenge of the Sith just now, wooden acting, but lots of action scenes. No suprise when watching the fights, you already know who will win and everything.
