Happy 24th Birthday

And that is my nice birthday cake from my BBQ last saturday. A whopping 3kg Black Forest Cake, just nice to feed the 30 odd people that came over to my BBQ. The turnout would have been more if not for all the last minute tuahs, namely eric, diana, yanqing and junlong. Anyway, the turnout from B03 was better than expected, including some people I did not invite but they came anyway, the usual PSC gang was here, but none of my syndicate CTC people showed up. Perhaps not all that close to them yet. As usual, did my gravitating around, but spent most of my time with the PSC gang, after all, the B03 pple have outings almost everyweek. The conversation topic amonst the PSC group was also quite varied, from should scholars be made to go to CTC, to the power of DPPs, even science questions on candles and beakers. Even Edward showed up, chatted with them till about 1plus when they all drove off, the B03 people having left much earlier at 11pm. Didn't spend a lot of time with the B03 people on sat, perhaps I should rethink my total invite list to make it more exclusive for me to have more quality time with those I invite.

Anyway, I did get quite a few nice pressies this year, 1 tee-shirt, 1 long sleeve shirt, 1 belt, 1 bottle of EDT, 1 calendar and 1 box of chocolates. Have a couple more to come, shall wait patiently for their arrival if they do come.

Today being my actual birthday, nothing special took place. Went to camp for day 1 of AIOC, met the 7 NSMen who are joining us for the course, the rest of the day was spent discussing various stuff for the CEP as well as the forum to be held tomorrow. The day got better after I left camp and met my sis in town. Might finally be getting the specs I desire, in addition, had dinner at Black Angus, the steak was delicious, medium rare was really medium rare, not some over cooked medium steak.
