Finally can breathe...

The last couple of weeks have been hell, really don't understand why I'm so busy especially when it's not the official peak period for me. In any case, finally cleared the largest item on my plate and can rest for a day or two.

Anyway, it's been about 3 weeks since my last post, wanted to blog earlier but just didn't have the mood. The last 3 weekends have been pretty good, went to Tiannuo's house warming on one of the weekends. Sis had a BBQ on the exact same night so showed face for a while before going to TN's place. That TN only informed me of his housewarming that very day at 3pm, slotted me with the cambridge group since he reasoned that the HCJC housewarming session would only happen in 2008. The housewarming was quite fun actually, met up with lots of camb people. Finally remember the date of the housewarming as 1st Sep as Zhen Zhen was tellng us all about the Laffles performance the teachers put up for their students.

Watched Jesus Camp with BT over the past weekend, didn't really enjoy it. Though it was eye-opening to see what these kids were being taught. The camp organiser actually admited on national radio that she was a fundamentalist. Really wonder how the kids featured in the school will react when they go to college and are presented with a wholly different world view.

After the show, went to ES' place for a spot of MJ then to Essential Brews for Delwyn's birthday. His birthday celebrations was quite fun, met lots of people I haven't seen in ages. Amazingly Delwyn was knocked out at the end of the party. Never saw him drunk for the whole of FC. I guess Birthdays are good opportunities to let oneself go. Hopefully the same won't happen to me when I hold my annual BBQ later this year.

Last Sunday had expensive brunch with the IC people at Novus at the National Museum. Food was alright, ala carte buffet, think I would have preferred to go to someplace like the Line which has a bigger spread. Have been talking about the Line for ages but have yet to go... sighz...
