To those who have me on Facebook, they should already know I got my posting. Will be going to MOM WPSD on 20th May. It's my first choice for posting, so am quite happy about it... At least I think I'm happy about it, will only know once I'm actually posted there if I like the job and working environment. Though I think the working environment should be fine, since I already know most of the current team.
And being the usual kay poh self that I am, found out quite a few people's postings already. All it took was one weekend of MSN and SMSes and I found out half of the posting list. Think some people are seriously unhappy with their posting, but doubt they can change much. Spoke to Yilin recently and she was saying how AOs have really no choice in their posting, the argument being the pay they were getting means that they have to take whatever posting is handed out to them.
On a brighter note, watched Jumper last weekend with BT, short show with many loose ends. CG was alright, comparable to the Nightcrawler scene in X-men, just that the whole show utilised the same CGI for the teleportation scenes. Also brought my regulator for checking as I had read online that it was affected by a product recall. Went down to the shop and was told it was not one of the affected models.
Other than that, nothing much has happened, just the normal mundane routine of work work work... Except that we had our section retreat yesterday and after the retreat, we went to eat at Astons Specialties which was opposite Katong Mall. The steak there is amazing, and ultra cheap too. Think I'll be visiting that place again soon, except that will need to go early to avoid the crowd.
