Went for the re-enlistment interview today, was fine, though that it was a total waste of my time. Was there just to tell the captain that I've got no medical, financial and family problems and my degree was in mechanical engineering and that was it. All it took was 5 minutes of my time. My mood was a little jarred after the interview though. And it's all the officer's fault, he told me initially that I'd re-enlist on the 10th which is next tuesday for the rejoiner course. After that the interview concluded and he told me to wait outside to collect my re-enlistment papers. After a nice wait, CPL Leonard Cai came out to pass me the papers and told me that I have to do FFI this friday before the course commences, hence my re-enlistment date will be the 6th of August. *grumble grumble grumble* And I had already sent out a couple SMSes to tell pple i was re-enlisting on the 10th.... It's TOO SOON!!! I only have 4 days notice... oh well, BT re-enlisted today and he is stay-out personnel so it should be the same this Friday. Have the Lee Shui Young Leaders Forum this Saturday at NUS aniway, so definately cannot be in camp on sat...
After that was a boring 90 minute wait for Guozhi and Hongwen, went to Queensway for breakfast and for them to buy some stuff then went selegie to play pool. 3 guys in a sad sad mood.... haha.... we were taking turns being positive and it was quite funny to hear GZ say it'll all be fine, knowing how he hates it and all. Found out that i suck at pool, only won 1 game today... but wats new, i've always been horrid at pool.
Toked to BT after he came home, weird tt he still has his pink IC....thot they would make him surrender it soon, wonder if tt makes him a civilian still....he re-enlisted as a PTE, so i shall do the same...hehz....in safti, those white bars make u the lowest life form imaginable...think life is safer as a PTE ...back to the regimental lifestyle.....life sukz....
