3 days to Brunei

Just got back from the NUS Science Bash at Rougue, only to come face to face with an empty house, mother took the opportunity of me not being at home to go to Grandma's house to play mahjong 'tong xiao' apparently, shall scold her in the morning for not feeding the dogs before going over. Anyhow, the bash was marred by a bad experience I had, ordered a flaming larmboughini at 0011 since it was one for one but the drink only came after an hour. Just because the bartender was too busy to prepare the drinks. Boontat made a huge fuss about it whilst I just sat back and heard him complain. Prevented me from truly enjoying the night and getting stone drunk. Although I must say the turnout was incredible and the company quite fun. It was almost a wing outing as about a third of the wing was there, dominated by plt 3 as usual, only 6 representatives from plt 2 were there.

Talking about camp, the past week in camp was slack. Other than Hunter on Sunday which was physically taxing, we had loads of admin time for us to prepare for Brunei. We also had a stand by bed by Comd OCS and because he said my SBO was muddy, I got 3 extras from WSM. He gave out SO many extras this past week, it's impossible for all of them to be cleared.

The steamboat is proceeding along fine, BT talked to plt 2 or specifically those who did not agree with the steamboat and our conclusion is that we'll just carry on as planned. Who cares if some are not interested is my take on that subject. Seems plt 2 is not very united, they were having some pep talk by Cpt Neo on Thursday afternoon and because we wanted to book out earlier, we basically cleaned up the entire wingline including plt 2's toilets and corridor. In the end, we booked out platoon level. Really hope they appreciate all we did for them, though it wasn't truly altrusic of us...

Flying off to Brunei in 3 days. Don't think it'll be a problem, we just need to pass Ex Nomad, once that is cleared, I personally think the badge is in hand already... Oh wellz, I'll really find out how it's like when I'm there, shall just enjoy my last few days in Sg...
