2004 is over and it's 1 week into 2005. The past week in camp has been ultra slack, went for heli-ops, had a 1 minute ride in the helicopter, complete waste of 1 whole day, not that I'm complaining. Guess that's how Pro term is supposed to be. Other than that, we had 2 days of scheduled Lancer prep, which meant bunk cleaning for the commander stand by bunk on monday, as well as 1 OCCT lesson. It was quite a short week, booking out on Thursday after a LONG stand by bed by WSM.
After we booked out, went to Dean's house for a BBQ, quite a lot of people were there and Edmund got horribly drunk. Dean got a little pissed for that and we stopped the drinking game and gossiped the night away. Lester got quite irritated as well after the way his Chivas was used for the Queen's cup. Oh well, he is prone to flaring up. Went home around 3am and did my passport yesterday. Thats the end of this week's activities.
The week before, we were in Tekong all the way doing CWO as well as Ex Robinson Crusoe. Our detail was the idiot detail who didn't harbour and cheonged from being the last detail to set off to being the 1st platoon 3 detail to reach the water crossing point. The only consolation is that all the teams who harboured got a dressing down and we escaped that.
Finally, our plans for a steamboat are finally underway, with Boontat writing his AI after approaching WC for approval. I spoke to Lta Terrence about it to get approval 1st as none of the others wanted to talk to him. Seems a lot of people don't like him and think him childish. I for one don't give a damm. I'm fine dealing with him at the moment, he hasn't done anything I disagree with yet.
