Just watched that movie last night, quite an entertaining show. I seem to be making up for the dearth of movies during my OCS days. Mr and Mrs Smith does occupy a weird genre though, action romantic comedy. The two of them looked so good on screen, their chemistry was evident, one flaw is that it's too unbelievable though, at the finale with the 2 of them taking out everybody attacking them and still surviving. Have been watching movies almost weekly, and I still have madagascar to watch; Plus there is Initial D, Batman Begins still to come.
The C@M media brief was on Wednesday and can take a short break from work, which I have been doing. Played a bit of pool with Royston in the mess this past week after the MB, managed to win my last best of 5 3-2 with a bit of bad luck from him. He potted the 8 ball and gave me the win, incredible shot too, the 8-ball was behind and between his remainding 2 stripes and he missed both stripes to pot the black. Monday to Wednesday was pure MB stuff, though Comd gave half day off on Wednesday to those who were there. After the MB went to PSC to pay Mike Yip a visit. Learnt a bit more about the selection process, seems the psychometric test is only for those who qualify for MA, which is still a huge number.
Read Wil's blog and he was complaining about something which happened on Friday. I posted a comment about it and the next thing I know, he removed the entire post. At least I managed to catch his replying comment before the post was deleted. Blogs are not all that private and at times, a certain self-censorship is needed. Private thoughts about others don't really reflect well on oneself.
Finally, watched H2G2 on monday, very cute show, highly recommanded though the humour is a little hard to catch. Shall put those books on my to-read-list. Zhenghan was saying how old the books were yesterday and I informed him that Douglas Adam died in 2001. Just looked at his website, he was quite young when he died too, only 49. Moral is to live life to its fullest...
