With one final peer appraisal, the entire package of CTC and AIOC finally ended this afternoon. The course has been pretty fun and I've made many new friends and learnt quite a bit about command. Our syndicate had a final outing yesterday to bid farewell to Omar as well as to see his wife whom he brought down from Brunei. Dinner was at Rice Table, following which the Singaporeans went over to Madam Wong to drink and chill. The place was extremely quiet, don't understand why they bother opening it on a Monday morning, they should just close it and save on operating costs, though our presence did earn them some revenue yesterday. Anyway left early last night to have a good night's sleep, though I didn't achieve the latter since LOST was too big an attraction.
The last week of AIOC had our summex and I was the exercise PC, being sect comd would have been more fun but it did give me a taste of command which I'll bring further once I return to Bn. I guess having officers (2 CPTs and 1 LTA(NS)) as my sect comds gave me an easy job as they are already familiar with command and what to do. Anyway, the individual interview with the DS was a short and sweet affair, did very well for my AOS test but was pulled down by my peer appraisal, not that I'm concerned, it's common knowledge how the NSFs do the peer appraisal. Still got an overall B and am ranked 7th in the course, though I'm not supposed to know the ranking. People talk, even DSes...haha...
