I think my bad habit from London is back, spent an unhealthy amount on clothes these past couple of days, all in the name of Chinese New Year of course. All these started 2 weeks back with the innocous purchase of a pair of black leather shoes from Hush Puppy, which was followed the next day by a pair of Nike tennis shoes. All justifiable of course, the leather shoes for work in future and tennis shoes for obvious reasons.
Then yesterday went shopping with family, and here the madness begins. Two long sleeve shirts from AX, followed by one short sleeve shirt from CK, total cost about $320. At least sister paid for those purchases. Then today was out shopping, and realised the CK sale has most men apparel at 50% off. Guess I went a little mad and spent a further $250 on another long sleeve shirt and a pair of jeans.
Total expenditure so far on clothes and shoes this CNY: ~$770
My only consolation is that it's been ages since I last bought any new clothes, so this should last me quite some time, in addition, long sleeve shirts can always be worn to work. Still, my spending is a far cry from my London days where coats were bought costing over £200, but there weather cold, need good winter clothings... :P
