Contrary to how it is normally used, the past weekend was a long one in which I was at work the whole time. Was helping De'en with the Navex he conducted for the Bn. Screw-up were aplenty but the exercise concluded successfully. So took a well-deserved day off work today, slept a lot, got lots of phone calls as well. Really wonder why people call me to ask about who was DO over the weekend, not to say I was DO or anything, but why me? Wasn't even sure who called as was still partly in dreamland, still I did manage to give an answer. They should just call RJ lor, he's the dyS1 after all.
Saw quite a few people had 1 year Anniversary of Comissioning posts, wanted to do it last week, but as usual, there was too much inertia, had an ultra long weekend, this one proper. Took last Monday and Tuesday leave as the whole Bn was on block leave, hence the 4 day weekend last week, which was mostly spent at home. Ought to find some way to occupy myself during the next couple of weeks when I'm clearing leave, perhaps another jigsaw puzzle will do the trick...
