Holidaying...

Sister and Mother just got back from their Spain and Portugal holiday today, was looking through their photos and recognised some of the places that they visited, the most obvious being sagrada familia. Also recognised the stadium they visited, I think it was the Olympic stadium. Seeing the photo of the spire they took:


Reminded me of the sunset photo I took back in 2004 when I was there with Lindi and Jeftor:

I believe I took photos of the exact same spire when I was there, but it's too much hassle to dig out the photo, scan it in and then post it online, shall just use what is readily available on my computer. Those were really fun days and I really miss the travelling with friends and having little on the itinery which was made up as we went along. This compared to the trip my mum and sis just went through where it was a flurry of bus rides and hotel rooms. I want to go for a holiday!!! But planning one is such a hassle, plus the need to look for people to go holidaying with. Guess I'll just have to remain content and stay in Singapore for the next couple of weeks while I am clearing leave.

On the Army note, the last arrow has finally passed, the 32km march of infantry pride was conducted successfully last week. Cock-ups were aplenty and the conducting officer for the CSB I feel was stressed out and pissed off, all because the overall conducting wasn't doing his job, but that's just my opinion. In any case, really have nothing to do in camp now except to get my clearance form signed. Have another 4.5 more working days in camp. Now all that's lacking is for PSD to quickly give me a job so I can start work...
