Diving

Went for my pool diving lesson today at Outram Secondary. Was reminded that it was where I did my CIP (Community Involvement Project) back in PDC (Pre-Departure Course) 2000. The name didn't strike a bell but as Mum drove up to the building, recognised it. The school really has good facilities, pool, squash courts, etc. Jean commented they should build a condo there as it's prime land and retain all the sporting facilities, after all, it's prime land...

Anyway, diving was interesting, there was a lot to absorb and we spent a good 4 hours on it. Breathing underwater is fun but not as unforgettable as the instruction video put it (we had an instruction video on the day of the theory and it said you'll always remember the 1st time you breathe underwater). Have another session on Tuesday night, initailly had a driving lesson planned but have to cancel it. Herman will be conducting the revision lesson on Tuesday, hopefully can get some pics taken of us in our diving gear. Am quite looking forward to our trip this Friday to Pulau Aur. Have long wanted to learn diving and my chance has finally come. Now have to consider sailing, Yaochern is organising one in June/July, but my interest isn't really in that area. I'll see my mood closer the date.

Hope it doesn't rain tomorrow morning, have another tennis game tomorrow at YCK. Playing with those 3 badminton players again. Hehe
