As promised, here's a pic of me and my sis at the pool session today. It was basically one times big refresher course and it was good practise. As can be seen, my wet suit is not a full body wetsuit and I foresee I'll get very weird tan lines upon my return from the dive trip this Friday.
Was very lucky and managed to get a 1440 driving slot today. With today's lesson, I've learnt everything I need to learn. The next couple of lessons are revision as well as assessment. Following which I can finally book my TP test. I so do want to get my license, but the earliest date on the board is 10th Aug. That means another 3 months of waiting.
Tennis yesterday was fun, played with the usual 3. Couldn't get Ray or Jay to join us as they had Coy cohesion. After the game, we wasted time walking through NYP looking for a place to eat and ended up at S11 (Bishan). NYP was just too crowded. Didn't talk much to OC, 2IC or the rest as when we got back to camp as they were having a safety seminar. After which OC spoke to the commanders for another 2 odd hours. Never knew he was the talkative kind. By then, it was already 6. Chris went to pester OC for his signature on the clearance form and I decided I had waited long enough and decided to go home. Russell did complain about me taking my stuff back, coz it means the computer in Coyline has no more mouse... :p He was still successful playing solitaire using the keyboard though...
