I'm currently on course at IPAM, which means one and a half days out of office!!! YEAY... Am really getting swamped at work, this course is a good chance to relax and not think about it. Unfortunately, one day and I've got 80 mails to read, at least I have read all of them.
Met Lindi yesterday, she asked me to accompany her to an IC alumni networking event. I was quite bored but she had fun fluttering from group to group, quite the consummate social butterfly. I did meet some interesting people yesterday though, from the senior VP of citigroup to the VP of corp marketing in capitaland. Guess I'm not the corporate networking sort.
At least the week is half over. Initially though I could wear jeans for the rest of the week but found out that my course tomorrow ends at lunch. Hence it's back to the grind of office after lunch. Perhaps the word swamped in para 1 is not truly accurate, challenged I think sounds much better... hehe
