Interesting tennis

I really should be doing work now, but the inertia is just too great. I actually brought my laptop home to get some of my ECAs done but it's just not happening now. In any case, I thought I would use this opportunity to immortalise what happened last Saturday at Tennis.

I did a miniature Hakugei. For non-Prince of Tennis fans, Hakugei is one of Fuji's three counters. Basically it is a slice lob which bounces back to the server's court. My version is much simpler, what I did was a backspin dropshot which landed near the net. Since I managed to put lots of backspin on it, after it bounced in the opposite court, it bounced over the net back to mine. If only this shot can be summoned at will.

There was another interesting shot recently, I think this was done by Jeftor on me. He whacked the ball and it hit the net. Instead of dropping back to hit court for my point, it rolled up the net, bounced twice on top of the net and dropped into my court. This was the day I lost 6-0, 6-4, 6-1 to him.

Am so tempted to not do any work now. Just finished a glass of red wine, and filled up my glass a second time. Television beckons but so does work. Still have 15 mails to clear as I was too busy discussing some stuff with Jackson just now before leaving. Think I shall leave that for tomorrow. Today shall just nuah, at least till 11pm. Should try to get some work done then.
