Just got back from my weekly tennis game earlier today. Played 3 sets with Jeftor and got totally trashed by him, think the score was 6-0, 6-4, 6-1. Though I contributed quite a lot to this trashing myself. Double faulted so many times, lost a couple of games just through double faults, I think my serve needs a dramatic improvement.
On a more fun note, took the car out for tennis today, 1st time driving alone, think my fear stems more from being lost than lack of driving confidence. Drove to pick Jeftor up at his place and he directed me to SAFRA for our game, then came back to meet Joseph for dinner and drove the two of them back. If only I had my own car, then needn't ask for permission to use the family car. Now must make sure parents aren't using the car then I can drive out. But this system works well too as I don't need to pay for the car or oil, as long as I don't overuse the car.
Sister had a BBQ yesterday, so I asked the tennis gang down for food. The food was good, the poison not too bad, made long island tea for Yinghong and Jeftor to try, now Yinghong has booked 5 cups for when I celebrate my birthday. I kept to Chivas the entire night, didn't drink much anyway, just two glasses. Was supposed to play tennis yesterday as well but got rained out, so the whole gang of us just came over early to eat and chat. Think I should re-work my parties to invite less people, then can have more fun with just close frends.
