The past week in camp has been pretty uneventful. Had Monday off due to AHM, went back Tuesday to gena an arrow to check what needs to be done for the HR audit as well as conduct a pace course for the Coy. That evening was the Black Eyed Peas concert at the indoor stadium. The concert wasn't bad, but I'm not that big a fan of hip-hop. I did see Denise Keller and Wolfgang there at the concert though, and Zhenghan took a photo with the two of them.
Wednesday slacked in camp, though I volunteered to help John with the conduct of his CSB route march by overseeing the construction of the rope bridge. As such, I burnt my Friday night and Saturday morning in Tekong. When getting the stores for the CWO, John couldn't get any anchor ropes and the specs told him that only one long rope was needed, so we went on without any anchor ropes. Come Friday evening when we were supposed to set-up the ropes, the specs started asking for anchor ropes. Koksters all, in desperation we cut some from the rope we brought and tied up the rope bridge.
Thursday had the Bn cohesion day and anniversary dinner. The cohesion day was cancelled due to rain but the dinner wasn't too bad, except for the fact that the men are like starved wild boars, charging to the food. By the time I got to the buffet table, there wasn't anything left for me. So decided to raid the VIP table with the other YSLs who were in the same prediciament.
Yesterday we had a platoon outing as our instructors were ORDing. Ate at Marche and a lot of the instructors were around. Didn't interact much with the instructors as I still do not feel all that comfortable talking with them. Had drinks with Wei Ann and the other platoon mates after dinner though, played some games, but didn't drink all that much.
This coming week got to go outfield again, that is so sianz... At least it's the last I'll see camp for the next 2 and a half months....
