My latest want

Was out today with Zhenghan, Lester and Junxian for lunch and after lunch went to Whelock Place as Zhenghan wanted to get his iPod fixed. There we all saw the new iPod nano. I am so tempted to get this new toy, but at $438 for the 4 gigg version I think I'd rather save for a new pair of oakleys. The split thread in blue looks pretty good, shall ask sister if her optician stocks this model.

Anyhow, lunch was at Kuishin-Bo, not too bad a deal, $27 for Japanese buffet lunch. Sadly, I'm still conditioned to eat small meals after 3 days outfield. Therefore it wasn't really worth all that money. Went out with Plt 9 for the Platoon Offensive Package and in the time I was outfield, ate 2 dessert packs and 2 green packs for 2 lunches and 2 dinners. Other than that, ate one biscuit pack and one fruit bar for breakfast. It was so reminiscent of Brunei when 1 24 hour combat ration lasted days. It's quite an experience going out with the platoon. Some of the men are definately of high calibre and others less so. As is, think I'm no longer able to burn midnight oil. Two days outfield with little sleep and I need almost 2 days to recover.
